The proportions of things change with age.
My ex grandmother-in-law (??) was over ninety, sick in pains, and wanted to die. The family tried to cheer her up what little they could. "What if we go to the balcony and try to see the Halley comet, it's supposed to be visible
today! It passes earth only every 76th year!" "naaaah....I've seen it already...wasn't much.."

I'm not afraid of death, but of the couple of years before it. In what kind of a condition will I lie in what kind of a place suffering how much being a terrible burden to my children possibly destroying their feeble economy...
I can tolerate the years on cat food before that. Actually, the cat food years will start next year. Meoww.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

In a word: yes. Start to think about just how short life is and as the song say's, "You don't miss your water 'till the well runs dry". The Buddy Guy song, 'Done Got Old' puts it well.... "I can't d the things I used to do, 'cause I'm an old man".

I have an appointment with at the heart cath lab today at 1:15, so yeah. I hope it is a transitional feeling/thought process but it's like one day you're all here and the next day you're tired and just can't keep up like you used to, it happens pretty quickly then (hopefully) there is a long glide path. I think the quickness of the change between strong and tired is what is sobering and thought provoking. There is really no way to explain it. I just hope everyone lives to experience it and then on through it. Most of us cannot afford to die twice like David Crosby or Keef so try and take care of yourself. I enjoy life pretty much, I'm just in an adjustment period. I still own a business I built but it scares me because last month I had to work it myself for over a week and I couldn't do it. My helper had hernia surgery. I will feel a LOT better when I sell this business, then I can mentally move on to the rest of my life. I have things I want to do. It's kind of like you can't let go and you can't hold on. Life gets confusing when you change, but I expect to come to terms with it soon. You'll see.

They called this morning and told me it was normal... but that is what they said in 2007 when they did a treadmill right before doing a catheter. On the treadmill I had absolutely no problems, when they used the catheter they found a 99% blockage in my right main artery. It turned out to be a 95% and an 85%, I got two stents the same day. I had NO symptoms. I just asked to be checked because ALL the men on both sides of my family either die from heart disease or accidents... so, I appreciate to good vibes, mojo, and prayer. I'm not worried about it. I think my heart is OK for now. I am worried a little about getting 6 crowns tomorrow.. yeah, it's always something. Keep the vibes coming!!! LOL. and .. Thanks Jesse.

OK jbow, I'm glad to hear you made it through that, sorry to hear about the crowns.  I'm sending a massive good vibe package your way, enough for seven crowns and six valves.  It is about 326 gigabytes of solid good vibes with many articulations, so it might take a while to download the whole vibage.  I would close most other processes except those that are essential and turn off core parking so that the whole thing flows.

Peace jbow

If I am to die then each day I know I'm one day closer.

But then, who says I'm going to?!

Just because everyone else is doing it doesn't mean I have to.
