Dragging Audio to Timeline to create temp map: 2/4 instead of 4/4

Hi all,

I just tried this feature for the first time but didn't quite get the results I was looking for. While the music was in 4/4, it seemed to create a temp map in 2/2. In other words, each measure was half as long as it should have been.

Is there a way to address this? I love the concept and hope to sort it out...

thanks,

That would be 2/4...but don't have a clue.

I recorded a band live, incl. drummer. Each drum was on a separate track.
The bass drum gave me 4/4, what I wanted. But the snare gave me 2/4.

    It's not perfect.

I believe you can go to Melodyne directly - but that's fiddly.
