I seem to remember reading somewhere that there is a specific frequency range that, if too high, can make someone angry when listening to a song!!??

Is this true or was someone pulling my leg?......was wondering if this was around the 3khz area as well?

Great song but I do not think the vocals are crisp enough. They need to punch through more. The performance is great, don't get me wrong but on the MP3 anyway, they need to be crisper.

I am speaking as a listener as your talent far exceeds my own.

RLD,

I was wondering if you'd like to collab on one
of my tunes. I need help with some vocals
and lead guitar. Let me know.

Michael...well, at least it had an effect on you...

Thanks Whyrag,
I didn't use a gate...I just adjusted the tracks so there was no sound or effects ringing when I didn't want it.

Thanks JCinNJ and Dazed...

Pluto,
I've done some parts for others on here before so drop me an email from my soundclick site and let me know what you have in mind...

RLD-I just did 10 drum tracks in 3 days. (my drummer came to live with me for the weekend.) I stopped by the forun in between takes. (I'm in the control room.) I really want to clarify here that I was giving a response to the 2-4Khz frequencies in general. God forbid that you took it to mean that I was talking about your song. I haven't even heard it yet. I will do tomorrow. From what others say it must be great.

Sounds real nice to me. Reminds me of another song of yours, "I'll Wait For You." You like to do some of the same types of tricks - using the flat 2 chord, interesting use of chord voicings and cool two-part vox harmonies. I really like it a lot. You should be famous. Why aren't you? Are you an old fart? Is that why?

Thanks,

Hey MJ...no worries...I was just teasin' ya......thanks!..

Thanks Dan,
You're right...those two songs are similar style-wise as they were for the same type pitch...
No...I'm not an old fart, but I hope to be one day...
anyway, who wants to be famous?...not me...
Thanks,

RLD
