Windows media plays too fast when Sonar is open

Hello -

I have Windows 7 and Sonar Platinum.  After the recent upgrade to the latest Sonar, an odd thing occurs.  If I have Sonar open and try to play an audio file through Windows Media Player or via web browser, the audio pitch is too high.  Voices sound like they're on helium, the music I export sounds way too fast.  I know it's not the export because when I listen to the same files with Sonar closed, the speed is just fine.

I feel like I had this problem ages ago and found the solution but I have no idea what it was.  Has anyone else come across this?

Thanks!

Could be a sample rate mismatch make sure Windows is set to the same sample rate as SONAR.
