I hope everyone gets this running like it should. I would just settle for learning how to pronounce it.

Try listening to the way Steve Duda pronounces it here.

I've had no issues with Cthulhu, it just takes a sec to learn how to set it up.
It's mainly just a routing thing because you need to set it up essentially as a midi controller for the midi track so that it tells the VST what to play.

Step 1: Make VST track
Step 2: Make Cthulhu Track
Step 3: Set input on VST Track to Cthulhu
Step 4: Set input on Cthulhu track to keyboard
Step 5: Turn on input echo on Cthulhu track
Step 6: Play

My son plays "Magic: The Gathering" and apparently Cthulhu is some powerful beast. So he set me straight on how to pronounce it!

Cthulhu is an H.P. Lovecraft monster from the 1928 story 'The Call of Cthulhu'. Not really associated with Magic: The Gathering.

Not pointing out the origins of the name, just saying where i learned it from.

And it is associated with Magic, if only in name:

Here's a few!  https://www.audiobombs.co...8/cthulu-chord-presets

Courtesy of user DavisGalvin on the Xfer forums:

Place the "Key" folder Under Cthulu Presets/Chord next to "Bach Chorales 0-99", "Bach Chorales 100+"
and "Misc. Classical". The next time you open up Cthulhu, it'll be with the rest of your presets!

Cthulhu Presets are now stored in the User Documents folder instead of the VSTPlugins folder:

C:/Users/(YOU)/Documents/Xfer/Cthulhu Presets/

The list of scales is as follows in every key, C all the way up trough Bb.
  • Major
  • Natural Minor
  • Harmonic Minor
  • Dorian
  • Phrygian
  • Lydian
  • Mixolydian
  • Locrian
  • Whole Tone
  • Jazz Minor
The chords of each scale/key are ordered in Cthulu as follows:
  • Triads
  • Sevenths
  • Secondary Dominants
  • Other Chords
  • Suspended Chords
