[Solved] SPLAT ProChannel QuadCurve EQ Window stuck

I'm suddenly having a strange problem: The Quadcurve ProChannel EQ flyout window is "stuck". No matter how I "pin" it, I cannot move the Window. I can only open and close it.

I happened in the middle of working on a project, but the problem is "global" and affect all my projects: I can no longer move the flyout EQ window on the screen.

Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated !

Thanks!

Allan

And you could before ?  I can't move the flyout window.  Pinning it prevents it from closing if you click elsewhere.

The only way it'll move is if it's pinned and you scroll the modules in the PC.  It'll move to stay attached to the EQ module.

EDIT : If you undock the Inspector, and pin the flyout window, you can move it around by moving the inspector around.  I just discovered this.  You can reduce the Inspector down to the size of the EQ module (any smaller and the window will close), then move the flyout window where you want.

I must be mistaken then. I see exactly what you see, and maybe I'm remembering SPAN or something else. Thank you very much for checking!

EDIT: Yes - I was convinced that I could place the fly-out window anywhere.

It was never able to move hence the idea as a fly out.

I found a "trick" to make it move up and down, so that at least you can position it where it's a bit easier to work with it if it's too low or too high. Once you open the EQ fly out, click inside of the EQ plot of the Pro Channel with your scroll wheel. Then, scroll up and down with the wheel and as the EQ module in the Pro Channel moves up and down, so does the fly out window. Hopes it works for you.

If you undock the Inspector, open the fly-out, pin it, AND ensure the main Sonar window is NOT maximized, you can place the EQ completely outside of Sonar. It would help to have a big screen! I don't know if it would also move to a second screen, being second-screen-challenged :)

Cheers, Peter.
