[SOLVED] Bought Sonar Platinum on Aug. 31 but Melodyne Essential Serial is still missing
I upgraded to Sonar Platinum via audiodeluxe. I got no other issues except for the missing melodyne serial. Thanks.

Hi - I saw another thread from someone with the same issue - and one of the Cakewalk folks fixed them up.
Since you do not yet have enough posts to where the forum software will allow you to send a Private Message, I will send one to them on your behalf, asking them to fix that issue for you, as well. Hopefully, they will fix you up soon.

Hi there is a Melodyne Essential serial number associated with your account.
Log in to command center or your my account page and you should be able to see it.
We do not issue multiple Melodyne serials when you upgrade if that is what you are referring to.
Install Melodyne essential and you can then auto upgrade to the latest version of Melodyne through the melodyne UI itself. Just insert Melodyne and you should get a prompt to upgrade it to the latest version.

Thanks, Noel - I didn't know what he had upgraded from to get to Platinum, so thought the Melodyne came into his account from the upgrade - not something already there from prior to that.

@robert_e_bone Hi Bob. Thanks for your initiative to help; really appreciate it. @Noel Borthwick Hi Noel, that explains it. I upgraded from Sonar X3 Professional (non-steam). I thought I was going to get a new one. Melodyne Essential doesn't show on CCC though. Is it because I got it prior to implementation of the current system?

@Monophonic - try logging into your account and going to My Account. That should show you all of your products and licenses, as well as many download links for things connected to your ID. Don't know why it isn't in Command Center for you, but since Noel saw it there for your account, I would imagine it would show up in the My Account page when you logon to the Cakewalk site.
Is it possible the Melodyne entry in Command Center is 'Hidden'? You can tell by clicking on the Settings button, which is the toothed 'gear' icon on the upper right side of Command Center. You would see any 'Hidden' products listed there, on the right side of the Settings window, and remove the check from any hidden product you want to display on the Command Center main page - then click on Save, and the product will no longer be hidden from display on the main page.

I think that I'm in a similar situation. I recently upgraded to Sonar Platinum on a new machine via Command Center.
I can locate Melodyne Essential when I view My Products and serial number is listed, but I don't see a way to install it via Command Center.
I tried going to Melodyne and downloading a trial version and then activating it with my serial number and received a message that an upgrade had already been performed for that license. Not sure what that message meant but I still don't have any editing capability on my Melodyne regions.
Could you please help me properly activate or install the right version via Command Center?

You will need to log into your account at Celemony to get your current registered version of Melodyne. As you have found out the trial version will not work. If you are having trouble accessing you account at Celemony, contact their support.
