Hey All,

Got the problem fixed by reinstalling and then making sure that the right folder was included in the VST scan...thanks for all of the help and suggestions.

Hello, I recently upgraded to Platinum from X2 Producer, and I cant find Melodyne anywhere in my command center, or my registered products, not even a mention of it.  Any clues? Thanks in advance

There are no dumb questions, really, just impatient people. LOL
No    Freezing turns midi data into an audio track. It's temporary not like bouncing it down to audio. See this

When you use Melodyne you have to create a Region Effects version of it, whether it's a clip or whole track. When you get done editing (and certainly before closing the project) in Melodyne, you have to Render the Region Effects "back" into "regular clip-ness" (LOL I like to amuse myself). So, freezing and rendering a Region Effect are not really similar at all.

When I started editing tracks in Melodyne (without watching any videos... duh), I would close the project leaving my Melodyne Regions "open" (ie not rendering them) and that caused problems. Now I've learned my lesson and render each clip before even moving on to the next one, or closing the project.

So, are you saying if I don't render the Melodyne region when I save and close a project, intending to come back and work further on it later, I lose all the work I've done in my Melodyne session? Thanks.

I don't know if you'll lose the work done, but the problems with my tracks that I didn't render before closing a project, were enough of a headache to get me to take notes, so I could go back and finish Melodyne-ing them later from the bar I'd stopped at.
I stopped doing it a while ago and actually don't recall what all went wrong, but I was so relieved at the solution, that I immediately "got in the new habit". I think my clips disappeared completely, if I didn't render them, leaving gaps in my tracks! Not good at all!
Even before "learning my lesson", I would only work on a phrase at time and split the track that way. I think I was bouncing all the Melodyne clips into a "whole", thinking that would "render them". LOL     Looking back I see that my method (then), was more like bouncing them into a HOLE! LOL A black hole, they never came back out of!

So, I don't technically know what happens or doesn't, but that I haven't had any problems since I started rendering each clip as I finish it. There's no reason you can't go back, create another Region Effects and start again, either!
Make a copy of your track first and work on that if you want to be safe(r).

I'm not much of an expert on PC's, so these maybe obvious to you...
Check by opening Control Panel and uninstall program     you should see if your Melodyne is installed.

Right click on a clip and scroll down to Region FX in the next pull down window, you'll see Melodyne, if it's there.
If not .... well, reinstalling? Or go to Celemony and check your account there. I think I'd do that regardless.

Happy 2017   You'll get it sorted.

Thanks Michael, it's no where on my computer, or even in command center. I started a new thread with the same question (realized I was hijacking someone else's thread, I'm new to the board) and got a good idea of what the problem may be.
Happy new year!
