Setting the Range of Pitch Bend in Sonar Producer

I'm looking to have a note that is being held out for 2 measures to bend a full octave. But it seems like it can only go up one note (say from C to D) over the range of 0 to 8191. How do I get it the range to be a full octave. '

Note: I'm using the latest version of Sonar Producer. Thanks so much for your help!

The pitch bend range is set in the synth.

You may want use portamento if your synth has it. Typically in monophonic lines, you over lap the end of one note with the next. With portamento on in the synth, you get a rate control, that defines the speed of the chang in pitch from one note to the next. You can bend from 1 semitone to 8 octaves with this aproach
