[...] I'm not using it on tracks, I've got it on the master buss. I ran sections of the song through the assistant several times and the results were not predictable. Sometimes the results would be amazing and sometimes horrible.

After seeing Neutron in action, the above application is probably one of the bigger "don't dos" with Neutron. Neutron is for track usage where the content is (relatively) static, so that the EQ can be set as static as well (that track assistant is a "fire and forget" feature). For an entire mix with dynamic EQ (entry/exit of instruments, etc.), a static EQ is going to blow up. Especially since Neutrino is the "brain" to the Track Analysis, it is limited in focus and very surgical in nature. Neutron is definitely geared toward single instrument tracks versus master buss usage. Unlike Alloy2 vs Ozone5 where some modules appeared identical, Neutron vs Ozone7 are completely different beasts now.

Well, I bought/tried it today and I noticed it had abt a dozen presets for a master mix. I selected one and tweaked the mix and liked what I heard.

Thanks, mettelus, for getting me off the fence. Neutron is in da house.
