Late to the party...    Nice song, Lynn!   Like others I'm getting a Floyd vibe without it actually sounding like Floyd.  Just a cool vibe throughout.    I don't know that I'd personally change a whole lot, other than adding some verb/delay to the vocals, and maybe a bit of chorus/flange in isolated spots just for effect.   OK, and maybe a little strings during the end section just as a bit of "lift".

Steve, thanks for giving this a listen.  I've been without computer for the last week or I would have responded sooner.  I don't know which version you listened to, but the video has the latest mix.  As always, I appreciate your insights, and you never fail to help me see things in a new light.  Have a safe and happy holiday.

All the best,
Lynn

Thank you, Malcolm.  I wouldn't mind being 40 years younger, myself, just not in 2016 ;)

Really nice song, Lynn.  I like the chord changes and the way it builds.  Good strong chorus.  Looks like you got yourself a winner.

Phil and Freddy, thanks so much for your kind words.  Phil, your latest video is kind of a gold standard for me these days.  Freddy, you can get 20 free video clips per day for one week in trial mode.  I did one complete video this way.  This time I ponied up for a one year subscription for $49, which was well worth it for this vid.

All the best,
Lynn

Just had a listen to the YouTube version... yeah, I think the vocals have more "space" around them now?  It's subtle, but I'm pretty sure I hear just enough effect to carry over from the end of each line.   Oh, and I liked the ending.

Steve, thanks for taking another listen.  With this production, I tried to follow the less-is-more philosophy.

Very cool tune, Lynn. I really like the song itself as well as the overall mix and vibe (is that an EBow?) but, to me, it's your vocal that really stands out.

Gary, thank you so much for visiting.  Yes, that is an EBow, which I just got and enjoy playing.  Would you like to borrow it for your next tune? ;)
