I will add that the only catch with Windows Image, if you can call it that, is that Windows will keep overwriting the same WindowsImageBackup folder each time you take an image.

So you have to create a new folder to stash the previous images you may wish to archive yourself, and remember to move them into it.

Also, if you boot from the Windows Repair Disk (you did create one, right?), to perform a restore from image, the only place it will search for an image is in the most recent default image folder the system creates.  If you moved it to an archive folder, it flies under the radar.  Stupid, but I guess it is Microsoft's way of ensuring you only restore the most recent image.  If you want to restore an archived image, just move it to the root of the drive as WindowsImageBackup, replacing the most recent one.

If you only want to keep the most recent image, do nothing, and it will take care of itself
