Lovely trippy vibe which reminds me of the post-rave music we'd listen back at someone's house in the 90's. Lots of modern electronic music is missing that authentic atmosphere, great sound!


I love this thread, the repartee between synk and jeff is really enlightening.  What they and (and sharke) brought up is definitely true and maybe missing from some of what we hear today, the rootedness of songs in our culture.  Our *atmosphere* now is like a simulacrum...almost quantum in nature.  Getting to know the history (eno and jarre etc) makes the songs come alive.

Oh yeah. Big difference between the original and yours Andy. Slowing it down opened it as much as the synth you added. A little repetitive for me at this stage, but I suppose more maybe woven into this.

I'm afraid I do repetitive a little bit too well... I blame that on me, when listening to other peep's stuff, I sometimes thing, "I wish that went on for a bit longer," and because I have no one telling me what to do, I end up with some stuff being repetitive.
 
You're right, I suppose I should have spent more time on this and added/changed some parts. I guess I thought that, because it was such a short piece compared to what I usually create at the moment, that I'd get away with it.
