Would you move from DOS to win10 and expect it to all work the same? What would the point of an upgrade be?

This thread reminds me of similar threads we see here.
 
An OP drops a bunch of concerns/complaints, then doesn't reply (here we are 5 days later).
However the cool things about these type of threads, people share good ideas and helpful info.
