I've uploaded a new mix after making some changes.
Changed the strings and choirs, edited the drums (more), ++.
Edit: Mesh thought I should mention that the bass were recorded using my Guitar Triller

This is much better!  Now, the song has room to breath, and I can hear parts that were obscured before.  The drums don't get in the way and make sense, now, which lets your vocals be heard more plainly.  Congrats!

All the best,

Yes I did.

Certainly a technique that's unusual and I think you did a great job with it. I'm sure it's not as easy as the videos show and probably needed a lot of practice. Personally I've never really used anything but a pick and fingers, so this is very interesting indeed.

Thanks, buddy
I found the key to using it being where I hold my right hand.
I've found a place on my bass that feels comfy to play. But by no means any good with it.
I can play a few things, and not very well
I only bring out the console when I'm trying to impress

Hear some vibes from Metallica and Scorpions, with some latin touch. Good work both of you! I didnt hear the earlier versions but this sounds mostly great. Maybe I would have put down the bass a tad in the softer parts but its a matter of taste. Nice song!

Thanks a lot, Lasse.
I put the bass as loud as I did to emphasize the bass, played with my Guitar Triller
Perhaps I should lower it a little.

Cool song, with lots of atmosphere!

My only comment about this mix is that the instruments create such a large sound wall that the vocals seem small in relation. If you can address that, I think this would be a much better mix.

Regards,
Dan

Actually, that was something I really liked about the mix.  To me it gave the song sort of a cosmic feel, as though the singer were only a small part of the relationship and far removed from the whole thing.

As for the sing itself, I found it hypnotic.  I love the droning pedal point.

You haven't lived until you've taken the Rorschach.

I thank you all for the feedback, and positive response so far
I lowered the snare drum a little, plus a few minor tweaks in the new mix I uploaded.
Original link is updated.

Nice..  It's definitely more open, Ken.   My only nit would be maybe to pan the vocals away from each other for just a bit more width - nothing extreme, just slightly less focused dead-center.   But overall I think you've made great progress.

Thanks, Steve.
I'll try panning the vocs a little apart.
I'm also re recording the solo's, as they were just scratch takes to begin with.

Enjoyed hearing this one, it's the "Dark Love Song" I guess you might say.

Nothing I can add critic wise, although it would be cool to hear an alternate version with some heavy guitars at times on the rhythm parts where the acoustic ones are and make the whole mix a little louder with some more bottom end, or I guess I"m trying to say "An electric version", but that's just me. Sounds great to my ears!!!
Not complaining, so please don't think that, I thought it was ALL GREAT!!!!!!!

Thanks for the positive feedback, Bobby
It was written for acoustic guitar, so I've never thought of it as an "electric" song (until perhaps now...).
Never thought of it as complaining
