Covfefe of a covfefe of a covfefe? ;-) But yeah, I agree with others that your vox have come a long way. As for the music it's of course all as it should be and mixed so you can hear everything but, even though I know you just did this as a quicky while you were waiting on me, I'd say if you spent a bit of time humanizing some of the more ridgid/synthier elements and delved into some of your higher end patch/sample banks you could knock this up a whole pile of notches with little effort. If you were so inclined that is. You know me though... I'll pick at things until they start bleeding. lol Either way, good jorb.

Sounds good except for the T's and S's in the vocal, apart from that well played/sung and mixed.

Slugbaby Very nice! I haven't thought of this song in a couple of decades. Great for a Monday morning.
Me too. Then I heard it on the Sirius-XM Beatles Channel (Channel 18) and I thought "that might be in my vocal range".

Well, I could hardly resist after your lead description. Ed, you're singing this? Well done! I like the brass accents. Another good job, fellas.

This song was posted when I was in the sticks, so I am late to the party. The funny thing is, I just found this CD at a garage sale for $.50. That whole album is fun. It sounds like you all had a fun time recording this. There is just a happy vibe to the whole thing, and of course your collabs are always so well done. I always learn from listening to them. It's obvious that you are doing something right because this song gets many listens, and it's not just because of who you are, it is because people know they are going to get a solid piece when they cue up The Coffee House Collaborators. I'm looking forward to you next release. Jesse Q. Screed Peace! Jesse Q. Screed

batsbrew an excellent version of this tune... i guess the first time i ever heard it was on cloud nine... i like the synth/guitar part? that fills behind the 'got my mind' sections..... i think it's a guitar part? either way, it fills out in a nice modern way great harmony work
Thanks Bats.

That is quite a fine cover > cover > cover, gents. Like others said it has elements of the George Harrison version without sounding like the George Harrison version. And yeah, Bapu vocals are a standout IMO. But I also liked the overall arrangement and closing out with the sax.
