Good morning Kenny, just a thought here.......I also have the 2i4 and in Audio Interface Device ( Select Audio Device), I use the Focusrite USB ASIO and not the Focusrite USB 2.0 AUdio Driver.....which has been working for me. Of course, your issue might not be this......just taking a shot in the dark here.

Hi Mesh , I use the same Focusrite USB ASIO option as you ... I did notice the other drive in my device mgr ...never saw it come up in any of my music apps ...it is currently listed as disabled ... Midi Guitar inside of SONAR the typical way that is it suggested to use Midi Guitar doesn't want to play nice ... I have had SONAR just go POOF when I use Midi guitar while re arming a track ...MY whole project has gone MIA w out a trace ... I'm gonna keep it short for now thanks, Kenny

Kenny, you just cost me $100. I've had MIDIGuitar on my wish list for a long time. Your recent posts and getting MIDIBass for free caused a dimensional rift in my wallet. Now, I'm just waiting to hear back from them. The demos run fine, but the upgrade links they send me are dead (0 byte file or blank web page). Probably their content deliverer's problem. Thanks for your detailed how-to!

OP here...it's kinda got off track, but Kenny has been so helpful here. Anyway, you won't regret the purchase, for me, it has truly opened up a new world of VSTs. I've tried other MIDI guitar solutions before, but this is head and shoulders the best. I mean I really WANT to play VSTs now and have them as an integral part of my songs.

Mea maxima culpa. Got too excited. FWIW, the problem turned out to be on my end. Adguard. Disabling didn't work. I had to exit it completely. Ollie was very helpful. That also gives me a good feeling about this purchase. I'm looking forward to the next song you post!

Just came back to add that, on my system, I had some latency issues with loopMIDI that I didn't have with LoopBe1, so... I bought LoopBe30.
