Are there default plugin settings???

I have the Hornet Autogain MK3 plugin and I use it for gain staging. I like what it does I just with there was a way for the plugin to open with my settings. 
Is there a way to set default settings for plugin such that it opens to that setting initially? 

Pay me or the chicken gets it!

    Will depend on the plugin but you could overwrite the default setting with your new default.

    The default preset name can be saved in plugin menu layouts. See http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3067059
     
    I'm not sure if the modernized plugin browser provides some simpler way.

    Is it possible configure an audio track with the Hornet Autogain MK3 plugin in its effects bin, configured with your settings, and then save this as a track template?

    Windows 10 64bit fully patched, 16 gig ram . 
    PCR-800 Controller.  (Working in Win 10 1809 64bit)
    CPU: i5 4670. 
    Video: Nvidia GTX560ti (latest drivers).
    Audio IF: Focusrite 2i2 2nd Gen

    Internet always on.

    Software    : Cakewalk by Bandlab (2018.09 B29)
    ASIO mode. 24bit 48khz 256 samples
