Sonar not designed to run on windows?

The file has become corrupted.  How exactly?  No easy way you can't tell.  Could be a hard drive failure.  Could be some sort of user operation caused the file to become corrupted (file copy/file overwrite/etc).  Could be some sort of utility/antivirus messing with things.  Could be some sort of virus. 
 
Most likely though is hardware failure of some sort.  The file on the disc is now corrupted and the only way to fix that is to restore it from a backup or to reinstall.  But if it was a hardware failure, you may want to look into full system backups and plan for the worst. 
 
 

If the file isn't actually corrupted (bad image) it is possible that some of the DLLs/runtime it needs aren't installed/working.  Windows 10 has messed a lot of things up recently.  The 64-bit version of CJLibrary.dll I have is 665,088 bytes and has a MD5 checksum of f2baaaecd11a4c09ed7d2a8f267edb50

I swear I've seen other threads about this exact same message. It's a w10 thing I'm pretty sure,, not Sonar.

Was Win10 available in 2013?

What I mean, Googling  shows Sonar crashes quite a lot in it, so may be AV guess is right, AV (or other windows component) detects that "something is wrong" with it (but not on the virus level, so no "alarms") and then block it. Check Windows logs, may be they show some "errors" or "warnings" which can clarify what is going on. 

I ran into this problem before when sonar platinum came out ... what I had to do was use system restore to restore to a previous time.. one thing I have also learned and applied over the years is to always create a restore point manually every week, create a restore point every time I add / change stuff and to also use my daw for nothing but daw work period.. there could have been and update that was applied and corrupted the registry.. I use a program called. Cc cleaner to regularly remove broke links in the registry .. also. I don't run any antivirus , any type of Microsoft office products or anything starting up and running and checking for updates and turn off auto update in windows and chose manual updates and only download the updates you need .. I have completely avoided windows 10 because I have every plugin from sonar installed and updating and reinstalling drivers I just don't want to do at this time.. if you are like me, when the creative process hits me , the last thing I want to do is stop and figure out what is going on with a program that is suppose to work when I start it up .. eventually I will upgrade to windows 10 pro on a new computer and reinstall everything, but I will have my old trusty computer available untill that process is done.. if restore does not fix the problem , keep going back to older restore points untill you fix it, check device manager and verify that all devices are working and use windows event viewer to isolate the time and date the system had problems.. good luck getting a response from cakewalk , I still have a support ticket open from 2 months ago with no response .. I miss the days of being able to talk to a live person on the phone ..
