craigb Since we've already done an admirable job of hijacking Dave's thread (hey, he got his answer already!), are you Brits (aka neanderthals) having a jolly piss at us Yanks for missing the World Cup? It actually doesn't surprise me, they stunk at every international match over the last couple of years - even the friendlies!
No. 1) Your "soccer" team is of no interest to anyone. Even they find it hard to look interested. 2) What James said about us. (probably getting knocked out on penalties by Madeupistan or Iceberg United)
No kidding. I'm obviously living in the wrong country... I like football (ok, I like watching "handegg" too) and I play darts at a high level. Neither is particularly exciting to Americans.
Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!

Is that harder or easier than playing darts on the ground?

Well, I had to change when they made lawn darts illegal here...

Lawn darts are banned, but guns are ok ? Can't even blame the Donald for that.

Yep. Can't drink until you're 21, but you can join the military and kill things at 18. Go figure.

That's more understandable - you have to be young and dumb to join the military. There's a good reason that there are no old guys on the front line.

Ya. Hunnert PurrScent is as high as you can go. Unless it's that amp in Spinal Tap.
I'm a big fan of Purrrrr Scent.

Oh yeah, I've seen that quite a few times! Always reminds me of Jocky Wilson (without the sad story that followed). I still remember a tournament where someone had to hold him up at the oche so he could throw!

Have you seen this one Craig. When Dexy's Midnight Runners performed their song Jackie Wilson Said on Top Of The Pops, for a larf they got the producer to put images of a certain well-known similarly-named Scottish dart player on one of the big screens on the set:

I've heard the song (had to play it as a DJ!), but that's the first time I've seen the video. Funny stuff! A bit ironic too when you consider Jocky always had that big smile on his face. Thanks for that Steve!
