I've just had a refund from Cleverbridge, so it looks like chasing up with them directly is a good option.

I've emailed Cakewalk through the ORDER problem on the contact us section of the website. Follows the response I've received:
 
Thanks for contacting Cakewalk- I apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced. We have already instructed cleverbridge to shut down automatic payments, as we have officially closed our stores. While we were told this would be finalized by cleverbridge by the end of the month, it looks as if they are potentially doing things manually and some automatic payments were still charged.

I've gone ahead and contacted cleverbridge on your behalf to ensure they stop your membership, and to expedite the refund process for you. You will likely receive a separate email with verification of this change/refund directly from cleverbridge.

I'm a monthly subscriber 6 months in - and so raised a ticket end of November asking what was going on.
 
Got notified early December that my subscription was cancelled - didn't say much else.
From this thread and because I'm still activated looks like I now own Sonar Professional.
 
It's handy that Addictive Drums 2 and the other VSTs all seem to work under Presonus Studio One which is now my go to DAW.
My concern now - is how I go about safe guarding this Sonar version so I can install it (and Addictive Drums etc.) in the future should I need to.

I was only two payments from full ownership. Now my subscription is set to expire in June 2018.
What happens in June?



You are a full owner now and fully unlocked. Your payments will stop soon.
 
We chose June 2018 as the expiration date to give ourselves wiggle room in case we need to release an update. Picking a date in the future means you will qualify for any SONAR update released between now and June.

I'd keep my mouth shut about getting a deal. 
Sometimes it's the only way a company can make good.. but I wouldn't post that here.. 
 
Your ownership of AD 2 is between you and them and you will be able to use your 2 installs anyway you like forever. Of course the software will be updated someday and for that you'll have to pay something.
