Not long ago, people were giving me crap for staying on X1 instead of upgrading.

I truly wish I were wrong and stupid for not upgrading and that everyone were happy.

X1 was an absolute pig on my system

As was X1a & X1b

It was only when the c patch came out that I could reliably run a session with SONAR blowing pup in my face

me too, but it was only when certain users kept posting "it's like learning a new app" that i actually went and did so, the thought had never crossed my mind in about 15 years of PA/sonar usage to check out the competition...

So what did you do, if anything, to get it working again?

Hi (sorry not been on the forum for a while).
I didn't do anything aside from starting up the software a few times over a period of a couple of hours.  The issue seemed to fix itself, so I don't exactly know what changed.
