The longer we go without any meaningful communication from Cakewalk, the smaller its chances of ever returning.

The reverse could be true, the less they communicate with us the more they COULD be in discussion with those who might save the company.

I admire your optimism, but if that were the case, wouldn't they be on the forum telling people not to jump ship to another DAW yet?

I suspect they've all gone bar a skeleton crew.

Personally I'm not that optimistic as I can't really see why someone would buy Sonar but if I was part of the team left at Cakewalk I'd probably put more effort into creating a future than spending time in these forums.

Good point. It's all guesswork until someone actually tells us what's going on.

In my experience it’s not wind that runs. It’s that other brown sticky stuff.

Oh boy Beagle

Hhhhmm, You know what ?

If I round up a bunch of them and spruce them up with some Holiday sprinkles and stuff , I may be able to stand in close proximity to a  Santa ringing a bell and sell a few of them ...might get some DAW cross grade money back

If that don't work out I can always stuff one of them down my drawers and turn my amp up to 11
