I need to add two seconds of silence on an opening of a track

I received a master from a service I use and the production is excellent. The song opening starts too soon and I imported the demo into Cakewalk hoping I could add two seconds of silence.  I added silence a while ago on another project but I don't remember how I did it. I searched Google and found threads but when I tried to apply them into Cakewalk by Bandlab I wasn't able to find anything that would work.  Can someone tell me how to add the silence on a track?  Thanks!
