this sucks...i am now getting porn spam from canada in my email.
the worst part about it is that they are using my email address, but with a different host, and sending it to me.
....pisses me off...the spam blocker doesnt even work.....now i am going to have to change my F@%$@# email.

Just when you think that Hormel has thought of everything; now, Porn Spam. Funny, I didn't see it listed in the Spam Family Tree. Does it taste anything like Canadian bacon? Probably more of a between-meal snack than a breakfast course, though. You've got to hand it to those plucky Canadians ...

Sean, try the free online scanner [ActiveScan] at Panda Software. It'll root out and disinfect a clinging, nasty virus, and list any spyware that might have lodged in your system. Then you can manually go in and surgically remove those entries listed. Remember that there are some that masquerade as .dlls in the System32 folder. I've had luck removing those by booting into Safe Mode, or renaming, re-booting, and deleting the renamed spyware files. Of course, this won't free you from whatever lists the bot placed you on, but it'll help if you've got a 'scout' broadcasting your whereabouts. HTH
