Can you change view layout?

Just wondering if anyone knows if you can change views or unattach the patch/patter/instrument panels. I like to see my pattern while I choose different synths or patchess. But Edit all is the only part editor that seems to do what I want.

let me know if there is a way to do this.

I think the views are fixed. It's not a big deal if you have a high res monitor - I just stay in Edit All mode when using my desktop PC (1280x1024 monitor), but when using my laptop (1024x768) the pattern editor is just too small in Edit All mode so I have to constantly switch between Pattern and Patch views.

I wish there was a way to "hide" the Song Arranger to leave more space for the Pattern and Patch editors in Edit All mode.

Lots of gear. Not enough time.

The views are fixed and unfortunately there is no way to resize ro detach them.

On my laptop I've gotten used to just switching between the Edit Pattern and Edit Patch views.

Also, another trick I've learned is to resize the Kinetic window so that the song arranger is off the screen using the following steps:

    1) Make sure the window is not maximized
    2) Hold down the ALT key and press the space bar
    3) Select the "Size" from the menu that pops up
    4) Hit the down arrow many times to size the window vertically until the song arranger if off the screen

Now when you Maximize the window the son arranger will be on screen and when you "Restore" the window the song arranger will be hidding.

I realize this isn't a perfect solution but it has been working well for me.
