Project 5V2 + Rewire= Big $$$$$$$
I like it so much I think I gonna buy a V2 T-Shirt, new things I noticed I have a lot of sample cds, La riot, and etc. I loaded some one shot Snare and Kicks, and I as usuall contructed a beat copying and pasting, Like I do In Sonar but I started playing with the editor changing the end marker and I notice instead of having to copy paste snare or kicks , or what ever on shot, as i change end marker it change how many kicks and how they are space that cool. I tell you if this thing had a mixer and a waveform editor, I could for the most part do entire project in this one program. Start to finish. Also this is very pleasing to my eyes, clear not cluttered, I open Sonar and I was wow what a difference, I dont have my LCD monitor right now, I have it hooked to a 19 inch regular monitor. I also like the replace plugin or synth command, and show instrument or effect commands. Oh yeah some one said the the groove Player is gone but its not on the tracks that had grooves, click on the show insrtument button

man I done made 4 jams in this demo, all of which will be lost, I tell ya man this things cool, so far the only thing I miss is a volume in the loop perview, it there a way to do some thing with that. I tell if this thing had a mixer, and a wave editor I would use this 90 percent of the time, it already has me rethinking some things, all the guys I work with use Cubase nuendo or protools, and I used Sonar, I think Cakewalk has solve my problems, If I do all my song in V2, then I could rewire into Protools, or Stienberg's stuff, and be 100 percent compatable with them with out having them to almost redo my jams, with omf, no effect go, but with rewire it'll use effect I already have on them and if they have some thing to add they can in there program but my session will stay the same. God is good. Also to cakewalk you guys need to use the effect in Deminsion, and rgc other stuff to come up with some audio plugins based on them, its right there you can go crazy with it, 2 cents men, and ladies

Yes, I concur, the Loop/Ptn pane needs a separate volume preview slider. The only way to adjust the loop previews is to use the Master volume slider, which then interfere's with your project mix. A separate volume preview slider with the ability to set the output to a different hardware out than the main mix would be ideal. That way you could cue/preview (headphone mix) your loops, before adding them to your project, during live performance. Both ACID Pro 5 and Live 4 have these attributes. P5 2.0 should as well.

Not to mention the competition...but ...I can tell you that P5V2 (at least the demo) works just fine rewired to both SX and Live Dan

Also to cakewalk you guys need to use the effect in Deminsion, and rgc other stuff to come up with some audio plugins based on them, its right there you can go crazy with it Actually spoke to soon you can already do that with some of RGC's stuff like z3a+, I wonder if Dimension will work that way, still it would be nice to have a bunch of fx modules each separate like RGC's reverb, Delay , distortion, etc. Me I like lot of Fx's cnat have to many of them
