soundforge 8 help.. spheris, anyone?

here's the deal, I've been using the soundforge 8 demo recently, due to it's batch processing capabilities.
But I've noticed that the audio glitches quite badly when I'm zooming in or out, or moving the display etc.
This happens with all driver models.

I've also noticed that soundforge 7 doesn't do this.

But here's the catch, soundforge 7 seems to hog the cpu while playing, but it has no glitches, whereas the soundforge 8 demo uses 0-1%CPU load.

so any ideas what I can do to stop this glitching. I won't be getting the full version if it glitches like this, as all I can use it for at the moment is for batch processing.

thanks

system spec is

AMD athlon 64 (socket 939)
Epox 9NDA3 mobo (Nforce chipset)
1GB RAM
2*80GB hard disks (Maxtor PATA)
M-audio Delta 1010.

It's entirely possible that this is a glitch built into the demo, I'd ask Customer Support about it.

It seems hard to believe that they would release the software with that kind of glitch.
