OT: GigaStudio - tune midi instrument

I'm using GigaStudio 2.5 and Sonar 4.02. I'm trying to play midi
instruments to a track that is not A440. Right above the midi fader is
Pan and Tune. I can tune the midi instrument there, but as soon as I
record it into Sonar and play it back, the tune setting goes back to
0.

How can I retain the "tune" setting in Giga. Do I write a midi
controller settting for "fine tune" in the first bar of the Sonar midi
track? If so what is the controller number for midi fine tune?

"Fine tune" doesn't appear to be on any midi spec sheet. I assume it's Giga's
custom controller setting. Under Giga, it lists all the controller
numbers but lists "fine tuning" and "coarse tuning" without any
controller numbers.
