What's the best mixing board to use with Sonar?

Looking at using more than just the software. I like the tactile feel, but I am unsure what would be best. I've got Sonar 4 Producer Edition. Any tips would be great!

Are you talking about a controler to do functions in the software or something audio would go through that would connect to your sound card ?

I suspect what you really want is called a control surface -- it is a set of knobs and faders that you can use to control Sonar itself, instead of just using the keyboard and mouse. The control surface that I have and love is the Mackie Control Universal. It has many features that make it quite nice. A search of the forum for control surface will give you lots of options and opinions.

The MCU is a famous ControlSurface. Most Film Composers use that. Although, I myself use my Keystation Pro88 as my Midi Controller/Control Surface which aint that bad, but it lacks many things the MCU offers as i believe. You can also have a look into the this site http://www.tascam.com/ComputerRecording.html and find a few ones, from TASCAM which are also popular and have caught my eye recently.

The control surface is what I am looking at. Sorry for the lack of verbage. Usually means lack of brain power at the time!

    Mackie Control

I know a room full of musical tunes.
Some rhyme, some ching, most of them are clockwork.
Let's go into the other room and make them work.
