Having a problem with audio Latency

Before I record the audio tracks all of my midi line up. After I record the audio tracks I have to realign all of the audio with the midi. The audio tracks do not match up with the midi tracks. It is off slight, but it is getting annoying realigning audio track by track.

This is my set up:
M-audio 1010 LT Sound Card
AmD(tm) 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 4400+
Sonar 5 Producer

Any Help would be great!

Steve

Which driver mode (ASIO, WDM/KS or MME) and latency settings are you using?
While recording, try setting the latency < 5 ms (you should be able to use < 2ms latency settings with your system without issues) .

Aside from latency settings, there is an OPTION for "Timing Offset" (I think under Global?). Experiment with that if the latency adjustments don't work out. Read the help on it, as it explains its useage.

I am using the WDM/KS driver mode. Is this the right mode for my duel processor?
