Mackie Control Surface

Ok Guys (Bruce Ennis take note please) I am running Sonar 5 producer on my PC Dell Dimension 8400(1GB RAM) a MOTU 828MKII Firewire interface a Roland X6 Keyboard an Alesis 3630 compressor and a Lexicon MK200 dual reverb and 2 Behringer B2030A monitors, the problem is I am tired of using the mouse with the Sonar 5. I just bought a Mackie Control Surface now I need to know what do I need to be able to plug in the Mackie?

I'm guessing from you configuration that the Roland X6 is already plugged into the 828mkii your going to need another MIDI in/out just for the Mackie Control. You could purchase a USB to MIDI interface several available like the Edirol UM-1 I use the Motu MIDI Express XT 8x8 on my main system.

    Bruce,

What stand are you using for your LCD monitors.. I just orded two Dell Ultrasharp 1907F (something like that), now I want to place them both on the same stand.. Do you have an internet link to the place where you purchased yours. What about prices ans the quality, is it sturdy and simple to connect the LCD monitors to the single stand?

    Thanks,

    Peace
