Aux Send Post Fader

Is this supposed to work this way? I've got several tracks going through an Aux Send set to Post. If I lower the faders all the way to silence the tracks, they still come through on the Aux channel. I thought that Post meant the Send would occur after the fader and therefore dropping volume all the way would stop the signal from the track from going into the Send completely.
