    i have sonar le dose it have a option to add drums in the program it's self or do i have to purchase a drum machine i have all others instuments myself but without drums the tracs sound void. or dose sonar have a drum patch to download i also have cubase but the the drum section
    that comes with it dose not work it says it cannot open program i'm new at this i've worked in studios but doing it your self on a pc is a bit different

    ok how about this, how do i use the drum map with my key board; i heard thats how you use the drum map
    so when i hook my key board to my sound card cubase reconizes the key board on the audiuo channel; but it dron't reconize it thru the midi channel when i hook up my middi cord am i for getting something like i said im new at this i have only had a couple of hours day to miss with it

    here is how to access the drum sounds on your sound card:

    have your midi keyboard plugged in to the computer

    go to options >>midi instruments and highlight 'wavetable synth'

    insert a midi track

    right click the track to open 'track properties'

    set midi input to omni
    set midi output to wavetable synth
    click record to arm the track

    now when you play the midi keyboard you should hear the onboard drum sounds
