Firewire ---> Alesis Mastercontrol Problem ***FIXED****

 I have owned lots of Alesis equipment. First I had a black Adat. Then I had two black Adats linked with an Alesis Studio 32 board. I have owned just about every Alesis outboard made from EQ's to delays and more. I have and currently have Alesis amps, close reference monitors, digital drums and other items. Most recently I had a Studio 24 which I used to offload some Adat track to my Sonar software on my computer. NOW here is the point of all this. I decided to do home recording directly to my computer and so I bought an Alesis Mulimix 8 Firewire. BIG MISTAKE!!!! The thing just will not work. I tried it with Windows XP and Windows 7. I tried with old drivers, new drivers different firewire cards, completely different computers. I read all the forums I could find. I tried online support via the Alesis web site. I tried tech support on the phone, ALL TO NO AVAIL. I am now so aggrivated with Alesis I will SELL ALL MY ALESIS EQUIPMENT AND I AM NEVER BUYING ANOTHER PIECE OF ALESIS EQUIPMENT. Thank you very much.
