Great stuff guys I am so pleased that you both have this wonderful app working, now I wish I could afford the 50 bucks to buy the full version myself.

And Jerry I was think that the router could be the culprit, I was even writing a message yesterday, change the router.

Good stuff,

Peace Ben

anyone know if is there one for android?  namely, toshiba thrive?

anyone know if there is one for sonar 8.5?

When you say Sonar 8.5, the V-Control 'free' version does work with 8.5 (as I indicated in a prior post in this thread). The paid version has additional functionality that I am not familiar with, and whether it is X1 specific or not.

Broken pencils are pointless.

WIN-7 64-bit; Sonar X2A 64-bit; 12GB RAM; ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 MB; Intel Core i7-960; 300GB-OS (10000-RPM); 1TB-Projects (7200-RPM); 1TB-Samples (7200-RPM)

V-Control as far as I know is not avalible for Android, there is an app called Touchdaw but its monochrome and has limited functionality but at 5 bucks it's not too bad.

The reality is and I hate to say this is at the moment there is only one tablet for music and that is Crapples I-Pad.

I wish there were one place to look for posts about the V-Control. They are in X1, Software and Coffee House, and maybe more I haven't found. Then there's the Neyrinck forum, too. It seems to me it should be discussed in Software, unless/until it involves making something work in SONAR, in which case it would be in the appropriate version SONAR forum. But I could be persuaded to put info anywhere - just pick one.

Software: Cakewalk by Bandlab; Adobe Audition; Band-in-A-Box audiophile; Izotope Ozone; Encore; Melodyne; Win 10 Pro, 64-bit.

Hardware: Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 2nd; Roland Integra-7; TCE Finalizer; Presonus Central Station, Behringer X-Touch.  Home built i7 with 16 GB RAM, SSDs.

I have this question about v control in the software form. It took over 24 hours to get help. Thats the problem with these type of categories. I know people in the producer forum as well as the coffee house would have an answer or be of help faster than the software forum where there is way less traffic.

I understand the concept. But why wait days for help when I know I ll get it right away here or the producer forum ... Besides that ... I let it sit in the software for in it's proper place for a day before I fished other forums.

Song forum

Coffee house

Producer x1 forum

That's where the traffic and action is

If you have the patience .... Then I suppose I should have lef it there .... But I don't

I am such a bad bad boy

Hey guys, I'm always happy to help when it comes to this stuff and I check in here most days, although time wise it's going to be harder once I go back to uni.

This is my forte, although I was less than useles with Moochs problem but I think it was the process (questions and responses) that helped Mooch in the end and then by proxy Jerry's as well.  I have an I-Pad and have owned an Android tablet and I have managed to get all of my devices to connect and control.

I think this is a perfect place to post questions about Music Technology and the IPad, I don't bother too much with the X1 forum, there are a few experts on X1 but not too many on this sort of stuff which is really Music Technology.  This sort of stuff is the future, it's pretty awsome what the IPad can do, the next step for me is to buy some sort of dock or sound card for it so I can use it as a fully fledged insrtument.

Peace Ben

Thanks for the replies. I have never spent any time in the Coffee House, so I am unfamiliar with its popularity. Your answer makes sense.

Software: Cakewalk by Bandlab; Adobe Audition; Band-in-A-Box audiophile; Izotope Ozone; Encore; Melodyne; Win 10 Pro, 64-bit.

Hardware: Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 2nd; Roland Integra-7; TCE Finalizer; Presonus Central Station, Behringer X-Touch.  Home built i7 with 16 GB RAM, SSDs.
