Kenny:  thank you..... I'm glad you listened and commented. I'm gonna present this at this week's NSAI meeting and see what kind of feedback I get from them.

Mike: Thanks for listening...

Robby: yeah, at some point I reckon...and... it is what it is at this point.

Hi Herb , I'm gonna put myself out there on a limb , so take this for what is worth ….

since I can't download your song , I've been working the sound click player to rearrange and hear sections of your song being played in various orders. ( it's not an easy way to do things w out my audio editor  )

I'm struck with the idea that if you were to do a little musical experiment and start the song with the section of the child's voice with the pad and give it a little more dreamy , ethereal quality  ,one might be surprised at the effect….

I'm hearing that with the pad you used and I've tried to imagine a little toy musical box playing in place of the guitar or w it.
maybe the ambient sound of children playing in a playground mix low w the pad underneath….

let's just say , I've been doing that over here (in my imagination) while listening and it put a real big lump in my throat…..

then of course , after the child's vox / intro …..the song would start and play as you recorded it , also I would definitely keep the child's cameo in the original section where you had it …for the story line and emotional impact ...

giving my suggestion  might be worth a shot ….the only drawback I can see is , you might not like it or it might not fit your vision of the song ….having said that …you won't know unless you try ...

all the best ,

Kenny

Hi Herb,

Long time no see.

I like this a lot.  I think the sound on the vocalist is a little harsh.  The sound in the interlude sounds great, so I'm pretty sure it's just the main vocal.

I've listened to a couple of anti-abortion songs on the boards lately and this is the 1st one that's tasteful.  It's very effective and well done.  Really nicely done.

Peace,

Ian

Kenny.... what a cool idea.... I may play around with that next week.

Wookie.... thanks my furry friend.

Ian..... we were trying to be as tasteful as we could with such a difficult topic. Trying to keep it on the positive side of things.
