He was a local where I live, would often see him in the local pub. The England video (#33), number 7 in the UK charts right now, shows a drummer, that is his son who is also a drummer in a band called Pink Cigar, which was effectively Steve Dior's old band (Steve's driving video below).
 
Very sad about the news, he was utterly my favourite comic ever, on the nights I saw him in Portobello he was quite a quiet and pleasant sort of a bloke.
