Anybody else notice the message in the Start screen that as of 2017.07 Sonar will no longer install on Vista.  Is that the first time the installer won't work  when support is dropped?  Usually it's just {fill in the OS} will no longer be supported, isn't it?

Windows Vista has not been a supported OS for SONAR since March 2016 (I think?), but to date we have not blocked installation. That changes with the upcoming 2017.07 release, which will be the first where we no longer allow installation on Vista.

When WannaCry disabled vital equipment (like medical
scanners), Microsoft patched XP double-quick.
 
So they CAN do it.
