ORIGINAL: LixiSoft How does it work in Sonar 6 and 7 ???????? Any bugs, or unexpected fall downs ??? I'm on S6PE and it's been rock solid, even loading sample after sample and messing with all the controls. You'll need to enable disk streaming if you want to use the Maestro piano.

So far v.4 has worked great with Sonar (6PE) for me ; also had good success with v.1 of the synth). Also echoing that with the extra sounds included with the group buy, and how cool this synth is, it's a great deal! And yes, dsl/cable is helpful for the large download.

Glad you learned to read, but seriously folks... If you are even slightly interested in buying a new softsynth you simply cannot go wrong with this deal. I bought it back in November when there was only a promise that the price would go as low as $60. Since then I've got the newest version of Wuzikstation, then the latest upgrade, a 4gb library of sounds, the VST Tool and manager which is kind of like the Sonar plugin manager with some nice options for saving and loading presets, adding arppegiation, and a kind of chord fill, the sample editor (which lets you modify the sounds in the Wusik format - WusikSND), then there were two new sample sets added when the group buy reached 200+, and now even more soundsets for reaching 300+. It really is a killer deal because there are lots of good sounds, it's relatively easy to use, and they keep offering more content at great prices. I am so satisfied that I bought into their membership which gives you access to more sounds and their monthly magazine that has lots of info and tutorials. Go for it -- you will not be disappointed! Sonar X2 PE, ADK Core i7 920 3.6ghz 12gb, UAD-2 Quad, 2x20"+2x19" LCDs, Focal CMS 50, POD HD500, Layla 3G, PoCo mkII PCI-e, Tranzport, Edirol M-16DX, Remote SL61, Mackie MCU, NI Kore 2, NI Komplete, NI Maschine, etc.

I got on this group buy about 2 weeks ago...This is a real deal. The synth is first rate and the presets and extras are tasty. Support is there, forums, feedback from author William K, user base is helpful. Anyway its all good. I have no connection with them except I got a good deal and don't mind spreading the news.

Lotsa variety and the extra stuff just keeps on coming...I have more presets to check out than I have time in the next year...and the thing just sounds GOOD...but different from DimPro and Rapture....so that's GOOD also.

ORIGINAL: philo156 Hey guys. I don't understand the 'group buy' thing? Could someone explain it to me? Well...at this point it doesn't matter since we've already hit the lowest price. Basically a group buy is a pricing structure tiered toward the number of buyers. The more buyers in the "group", the lower the price per buyer gets. Once the group buy ends or you reach the lowest price you actually pay for the item. We've already bottomed the price so you will benefit from the early participation of others... , however there are a bunch of extras with this deal and more to come if we get over 300. So spend $60 already!

There is a lot of content (especially considering the gb price), broken into smaller pieces. Still some are > 600meg so it took several minutes per file. Depends on you connection speed... YMMV. I am using it with S7PE and P5. No problems to date. You can look in on Wusik's forum on KVR for more info. ggg

Looks interesting... Since I am very disappointed with the 'real' sounds Sonar 7 PE offers (or does NOT offer... like a simple PIANO or a great bass) I wonder how the acoustic presets are with Wusikstation. S7PE offers more than enough synths sounds: more than I would ever use. Also, how heavy is it on the system? Can I easily load several instances (for bass, brass, piano, etc) or will one instance bring my computer to its knees? I have to say though that the name of the program and the scary voice in the tutorial video scares me off a little... :P Then again, the price is so low, it;s incredible, specially when I convert the dollars to euro's...!

The acoustic presets are good, not great. But the plugin is light on resources, and it has a wonderful disk streaming engine for sounds like piano. As said before, you have a rompler with instant joy AND a synth machine/sampler you could easily lose yourself in the amount of programmability. Sincerely, the group buy is a real steal. I got in in 2006 group buy, and have updated to the 4GB collection. A bargain. - Mario

bumpety bump - great deal, getting better. Big download. Easy install. Tons of content, especially in the ambient / pad zone. Bang for buck hard to beat, support and updates very strong. Seems pretty feature-rich as well, haven't dug too deep into the engine but I like what I see from browsing around. There's a small but apparently growing community of sound designers creating new stuff for it on an ongoing basis, so it seems like a healthy product, not a dead end. Once you've bought in you need to register on the site and set up a support ticket to get the 20 free credits - I used them to snag a whole pile more content from the magazine archives. Overall, highly recommended, and the price is right. Are you the next contestant?
