There was ditch week all over our farm when I was growing up, and it's not hard to find around Kansas City. But it's no good, trust me.

I think the prohibition of Marijuana will be over within the next 5 years - some states (like California) maybe sooner!

I recall back in NJ as a teen..... they found a huge plot growing in a field behind Kennedy Hospital in Stratford..... we all used to cut through the field on the way to the Field's Department store......if we had just known....

In another incident..... someone found another big field growing behind a service station... they called the cops who called the TV folks and the field was shown on TV......problem was, nobody from the PD secured the field so when the police narc squad showed up next day to pull up the weeds.... the field was empty... no vegetation left in it....somebody showed up in the middle of the night and helped the police harvest the plants... funny!

Keep looking Herb...please....and if you see one like this...PLEASE PM me. please..purty please...with
sugar crystals on top...

That's not sugar, Bobby.
That looks like maybe Maui. But yeah, the tops were the good stuff.
Like a fine wine, each variety had a unique boquet, and distinct flavor.
Sensimilla, Mesa blue, and a delightful variety from Korea with brilliant orange hairs that had a vicious creep to it.
Haven't touched it for many years, but back in the day.....

I'm not Bobby.
And I know gold when I see it.

And I also remember all the jerks trying to pass off  Tai wrapped with string.
And if you know what I mean you know it's tied with.

Bobby. Damn what a way to start the day.

Bye.

Hah hah!!!

Love it!!!

I once knew a guy who had a couple of greenhouses where he grew the odd bit of vegetation.

I was with him one night when he got a phone call saying that "Plymouth is dry"

He disappeared for a short while, came back with a bin liner full of recently harvested buds and announced "Plymouth ain't dry any more"

Oops. Sorry, Michael.
It was late, after a long hot day working in the sun.
Of course you're right.
No stems, no seeds that you don't need.....

Apology excepted. Man it has been HOT here too.
Just standing outside for a few minutes and one is soaked.

Trivia; I don't know what's going on in "that" world and
haven't for 30+ yrs. But when...Tai-sticks were wrapped
in lengths, usually about 6 inches, with strings of fiber from the plants stalk.
And it was absolutely wonderful tasting toke. And I would
also guess it was the original reason for "pin" joints. "Fat" ones
were a waste and it was so good, as many may relate, you'd
have to light the thing 10 times, lol. (if you know what I mean)

Those were the times. I don't recommend or even suggest
that it's alright to indulge. Now that I'm older and wise enough
to listen to my body I question every little thing even a doctor
may recommend.
So any young folks that may be reading this thread please
don't think it must be alright to mess with mind altering
substances. Be smart and wait till you're smart enough to decide
for yourself....somewhere around 50 or 60 is my current guess.

I have to concur with Soundtrapper..... cool name by the way.....

It has been about 30 years or so since I indulged in this I do not approve of the use of  illegal drugs........ however, I do see Cannabis in a slightly different way. It is currently illegal and that is the law. It was legal once and I believe it will be legal again soon.... like I said in an earlier post.

I also believe the plant has medical properties that are useful and we should use those aspects to treat people who have side effects from chemo, and glaucoma....and for people who need to gain some weight....(munchies). If it again becomes legal...and I develope a medical condition that requires this medication...... I will gladly accept that prescription....... with joy.....

I used to use this quite a bit back in the day...... to me the worst thing about it is the complacency and waste of time that it was. It did nothing for my creativity or desire to accomplish something useful. Songs I wrote...if I actually wrote a song..... which at the time sounded brilliant... the next day, listening to it again straight..... "like, man, what was I thinking?"......

Walking away from it was the best decision I made. I remember those days with fond memories, but have no desire to return to them.

The plants have come a long way from the weed we bought on the streets and grew in small gardens back 35 to 40 years ago. Plant scientists have been busy improving the potency and what we had back then was mild compared to some of the stuff on the street today. From what I understand, some of them are so powerful that they are like mild LSD.......they kick your butt righteously.

I do not encourage anyone to use this plant in an illegal fashion.

The plant in the OP foto is now gone..... removed by the owner of the property who's views are like mine. We had a short talk, I showed him the pic....and he was not aware that his son was growing this.... the problem was solved the same day.

Well, let it go and when the days get shorter the flowers will come.  Well, of course, I'm just guessing.  Oh, yeah, miracle grow now and superbloom when the days shorten.  I'm guessing that would work.  I had a dream once about that.  The dream lasted about a year.  Oh, yeah, it was a dream from almost 30 years ago.

I can't tell if it's male or female. Or maybe they already pulled the males. Only the female will produce sweet buds. The males are pretty much useless, as are smoking the leaves. Sure they have some THC. But the big buds with the sticky crystalline subtance all over is what we are looking for.

But, Herb, go back end of September or in October and see how they look. Unless someone harvests or steals it by then.
