True. Those pests are rather elusive though. Even for those that can actually shoot an arrow where they want it.
That's one's easily solvable. A swivel-mounted firing firearm of your choice, utilizing motion sensors to aim and fire. You could even add some a.i. to the system so you can select the kind of dinner you want from an image bank. Think of it as ordering for delivery. Well, maybe not. The gendarmes seem to lose their sense of humor rather quickly when confronted with this kind of improvisation. Never mind....

Unfortunately, the neighbors voted (long before we got here) that no firearms are allowed on that hill.
But after I saw my brother-in-law's motion-tripped hunting camera, I wondered about the same thing. If they can do that, why not rig up the gun to shoot anything that comes in front of the camera. Well, maybe anything that looks like a deer would be safest... Then it could buzz the hunter and he could come pick it up. Ithink that would sure beat sitting in a tree stand for hours on end.

I like your thinking!  Those cameras are pretty nice. I've seen them used for more than hunting - watching for trespassers, for one.

Yes, I should have known they're used for more than just hunting. I think my brother-in-law is mostly interested in hunting and fishing though. :-)
