Mixbus plus Essentials Bundle Just $49 List $158 69% off Includes FREE 4.x updates. Mixbus loads VST, AU and LV2 plugins. I don't see that price anywhere. I found black friday sales which has Mixbus for $29, Mixbus 32 for $99 and then packages of Mixbus and Mixbus 32 with ALL plugins for $249 and $349 respectively. but I cannot find anything for $49 for Mixbus plus Essentials bundle.

I have Mixbus and I like it, but no VST3 support. When is that coming?
Splat, Win 10 64bit and all sorts of musical odds and sods collected over the years, but still missing a lot of my old analogue stuff I sold off years ago.

Copied off their website ... What is the difference between Mixbus and Mixbus32C? Mixbus and Mixbus32C have identical features, except that the 32C mixer strip has more features: Mixbus provides a 3band EQ with high-pass filter, and 8 mixbuses. Mixbus32C provides a 4band EQ with high- and low-pass filters, and 12 mixbuses.

I'll give it a try - one question: what is the copy protection? I assume C/R? And is it per machine, how many, machine id, etc.

What is the Mixbus user license? If I have a desktop and a laptop computer, can I install it on both? Yes. Mixbus is licensed to a "single user". This means that as long as you are the only user, you can install it all of your personal computers. If multiple people will be using the software, you will need to purchase a license for each user. Commercial businesses and educational facilities should purchase a license for each computer.

Wow, $49 for both Mixbus 4 and the plug-in Essentials ( 4 of them) is an great deal! Best deal I’ve seen from them in years! I already own both, otherwise I’d be all over that offer!.... even if just as a studio add on for mixer and great working plugins!

Eh, I wouldn’t hang your decision on one review. The plugins don’t look like much, but come from one of the most prestigious hardware makers out there in a very high end market, they work and sound great. Maybe not the best, but way better than many others too. As I said above, even if undecided and possibly moving to another daw, Mixbus is an amazing mixer to use, and it’s like getting it for $25, and each essential plugin for $6 each. Imo, can’t go wrong with that as studio additions.

Good point! I totally understand that point of view. The mixer with its function and that magical saturation workflow is worth the money even if using as a tool with another daw, imo.

are there presets on the plugins for mixing, mastering songs which might work more "integral" than our other plugins?

I can’t say for sure in comparison to other plugins. What I can say is that maybe the Harrison plugins work extra good in Mixbus, adaptive, in the mixer channel strip view, but cool thing about that is I’m pretty sure you can also customize the quick view for any plugin in the mixer view, so shouldn’t be an issue that way. Honestly, everyone is different with needs, but short advice would be, check them out, watch the videos on them being used (with phones on) they have some great videos at Harrison! if you need or like them, go for it, if you don’t and have others you like to use, maybe skip it. You can always take advantage of offers later to add plugins. Hope that helps.

I understand now. I read in to your post too much. The plugins are a good value when they're on sale IMO, but the standard asking price seems a bit ridiculous. I'd have rated them more highly if they always sold at the sale price.
