Has anyone installed Wave Audio SuperTap lately?

I got the free version a few days ago and Waves insisted I first install Waves Central.
As I recall after doing so I didn't get the option as to where to install so it put everything on my C drive.
I moved it to one of my other drives and found there are many dll files but after pointing sonar to the one named SuperTap.dll (along with others after that didn't work) Sonar can't seem to find it.
Please tell me what I'm missing here.
Thanks very much,
Randy

Installed recently, and made sure I could insert it, but have not used it 'in anger' yet - too many new toys from Black Friday weekend demanding attention. There's another recent thread on it here:

For whatever reason, the scanner doesn't find it when I place the folders in either of those locations...I must have screwed something up.
FWIW, when I point the scanner to search in the various locations I've put the folders, the scanner gets stuck on "opengl32sw.dll".
Does that throw up any red flags to anyone?

    Thanks again,
    Randy

I don't think the Waves plugins like being copied... Try locating them, and include that folder to the vst scan in Preferences (P), File. Vst Settings.

I just went through the whole "Waves Central" installation again and installed to where Waves wanted it.
The scanner still doesn't pick it up so as much as I hate to contact their support team (I feel a little guilty since it's a freebie) I suppose I will.

    Thanks guys,
    Randy

The Waves shell can be pretty finicky with old installations and/or moving things around. I wouldn't hesitate to uses Waves support. They're awesome and they'll get you up and running.
