POD Farm 2.5 update downloaded and installed without a hitch. Using standalone with my Delta 66 and as a plug-in within SONAR X1b (255) without any obvious issues so far. Working like a charm here as well. I had V2.01 already licensed and installed on my DAW and simply installed v2.5 over the top.

Cheers,

As far as I can tell changes from v2 are:
  • New licensing scheme - dongle (i.e. Line6 interface) no longer required for plug-in or Pod Farm stand alone.
  • new 64 bit drivers.
Someone chirp in if I'm wrong or missed something.

Seems to be about it. I can't really use it without my "dongle" (UX1) as that is where the sounds go in and the sounds come out!

Grum.

In my case I mainly use my TonePort DI when cutting guitar so not having to either tie up a USB port or freeze all my guitar tracks would be nice. I plan on checking out the upgrade after I finish my current project.

After being on hold for 45 minutes today...I talked with a tech @ Line6 and explained how I had a full working version of Pod Farm 2 but when I tried to upgrade to 2.5 it didn't "see" a license and the only thing that showed up under my account was an xt live purchase back in '06...I ended up having to pay the $49 for the upgrade...no big deal....the sounds are good (I just wish it had more Fender amps)
