The green man movies are some of our faves.

Opened IE to hulu started a vid. Opened Sonar 2015 and lost audio in the browser.  Way annoying.
All settings are to "share."
Goo thing I never uninstall previous versions.

I get audio from other sources, when I play mp3s or stream videos online, or even playing my keyboard... but no output from Sonar.

When I had a similar issue.   I finally  Bypassed all FX  (located in the Control Bar with the "Mute" "Solo" "Record" Buttons).  The audio came back.  Then I examined all of my FX and learned that Cakewalk had turned off the C2-A2 Leveling Amp because it was supposedly not registered.  That's another story!
