Higgs-boson

Higgs boson-like particle discovery claimed at LHC

This 'possible' discovery is already being mentioned in the same breath as those of Newton and Einstein.

In an off-camera moment, a CHB member (who wishes not to be identified) noted that "the Higgs-Boson particle would be featured prominently in an upcoming release by the CHB."  One can only wait and wonder.

So, Higgs-boson walks into a church and a priest says, "you’re not welcome here" … to which Higgs-boson replies … but without me you can’t have mass.

It wasn't funny until the rimshot was through.

Then.... I could not stop laughing for what seemed like forever the life span of a Higgs-boson particle.

So both Newton and Einstein had breath with particles in?  I guess that means they've worked what made them cleverer.  Isn't science a wonderful thing?  Neither of these guys are still breathing yet they can still work this stuff out.

I suppose now they can check young children to see if they have these intelligence particles in their breath and predict who the next great scientist that is likely to come up with another great discovery such as this will be.

This is surely just the beginning of discovering more things that can be discovered and discovering the right people to discover them.

    Exciting times ahead.

Hey a TV company.  Does this mean I've been discovered?

I can gaze into space with a vacant expression and talk like a girl, maybe they'll make me into a science presenter for prime-time.

I understand all the basics too, like litmus invented paper, and a light switch isn't as heavy as a bulkier one.

I'm made for the role it would seem.

The God Particle. Well I for one was praying that their "collider" wasn't just a big A bomb waiting to be activated. An atom bomb is also a colllider of sorts. To call some binding atomic element the God Particle is just house paint. When the Sun goes over the horizon are we enveloped in Dark Matter? The term experiment means that those who are conducting the experiment, really aren't certain of their proposed facts. The term chain reaction has become quite famous in relation to atomic research and I for one can't help but be concerned about experiments that could result in one.
