Sounds really good Clint! A fine mix all around. Now time to sit back and enjoy it. Although, I know that by the time I get done tweaking a song, I need a break from it for a few days. :) At any rate, you should be proud of this! It sounds great, and excellent guitar playing!

I didn't listen to the early mixes..... and browsed and skimmed the comments. I like this. It sounds good. That's my official opinion.

I've listened to this as you've worked on it and it just keeps gettin' better. To me, the mix as it is now showcases the different sections much better than the original. May be my old eyes, but it seems you can even tell a difference in the graphic of the wav file. Any way, great work!

I've listened to them all, and read through this. Great advise for ya here. Personally, I think I'd give the kick back most of what you cut at 62 hz but either way your 12-12-13 mix is the money shot. Sounds pretty freakin' good on my end. The low mids on the bass are jumping out on these little monitors in my den, but that could be that these KRK 5's a bass hyped junk (which is why they are now computer speakers in my den, not monitors in my studio).

same here, I am a bit too late and only in for the final version, which is cool - I like the drums sounds, which drum sampler are you using?

Hey there! Some really solid playing! Nice groove for sure. The mix is very balanced to my ear. May need a tad sparkle with some BBE or Aphex Aural Exciter (or some like-minded plugin). Apart from that, the ONLY thing I think would be some chorusing on the rhythm guitars in certain, less distortion focused parts - would create a nice spread. Stereo spread on the rhythm guitars could also be created by BX Shred Spread or PSP Stereo Enhancer. The guitar tones are super. What plug in are you using? Great soloing! Well, I'm impressed! Keep it going. :-) FR

Now I'll see if I can mix some of my others songs! The drums are EZ Drummer "Rock Solid" with the Gretsch kit. The guitars are Amplitube CS with a Fender Super-Sonic. The bass is one of the Ampeg amps. Reverbs and delays are from ValhallaVintageVerb and Ubermod. Everything else is either in the Pro channel or Fab Filter. I did use my new Nomad Factory Cosmos on the guitar bus. Edit for...It's Dec. 16th. I've now deleted all but the last mix. Thanks everyone!

First listen, closed my eyes and I thought drums could just cut through a bit more, i.e. Maybe just a bit more volume or eq on mid to tops of everything. Same thing with the lead, give it a bit more air in the parts where really shines, it's the hero of the song. Balance apart from that is really good, structure is perfect, don't change a thing, bass is solid. Wow, there are some great musicians frequenting this site. I'm definitely gonna listen for more of your stuff, I can't play guitar to save myself so it's great to listen to you.
