Huge Instrument Update now available

 
What do we do to get the update ?
 
I got z3ta+2 bundled within X1 Production Suite.  I see the z3ta+2 download as part of the X1PS download in my cakewalk account.  Has this file been updated to the 2.2 version and all I have to do is download it and install ?
 
EDIT :  I don't have CCC installed, so I'm hoping for a simple, manual download file.

"You will need to install Command Center for Z3TA+ 2.2 to authorize."
 
My Audio PC is not connected to the internet.
Does this mean, I cannot authorize Z3TA+ 2.2
 

I can't find the download to 2.2. In "My downloads" page it only has 2.1.2. What am I doing wrong?
 
edit: I see it is updated as a link on the main page and not "my products download" page. You should probably update that.

I had IT check into your account and they confirmed that Z3TA 2.2 is available. Please give it another check and let us know if you are still unable to access it.

Well I got the 2.2 but after installing it using the command center app, It only runs in demo mode in Logic X. You see this is the problem when you try to overprotect with these sort of add ons. They don't work and customers hate them. You actually drive people away with these sort of heavy handed tactics. Please help me out here. thx.
 
deleted the plugs and used the app again and still:
 
Z3TA+ 2 is running in Demo Mode.  Saving programs is disabled and periodic random silence will be produced.


You can't imagine how frustrating this is for the end user.

Hey Alan,
We are looking into an issue where some users may have an expired session when using Command Center on Mac. I believe we have a fix coming for this soon that will automatically correct it but it is also easy to fix manually. Could you try logging out and back in using the settings tab in Command Center? Once you've done that try leaving Command Center open and opening Z3TA 2 again in Logic.
 
When you first launched Command Center were you notified of the updated version and you have that downloaded?

I'll give up on this update . I removed the z3ta files and the new app and the old ver 2.1.2 registers fine with the old serial number.
I think you should pull this horrid command center till you get it working right on mac's.
 
By the way, my retail serial number does not match the new number in the support system. Is that assigned automatically when a version changes?

How can Z3ta+2.2 be installed without the Command Center? I've installed CC anyway, but Z3ta+ 2 doesn't show up there (as many others have noted), and it doesn't show up as a product I own on Cakewalk's own website.

I bought this by itself once, and got it with Sonar Platinum once, so I'm pretty sure I own it. And when I tried to "register" it again with Cakewalk, I got an error saying the serial number had already been registered. I know it has. I registered it.

All the links I've followed from this thread to Cakewalk's site only point to the changelog, which also states you have to use the Command Center. I'd just like to know where I can get the file if I don't need to use CC.

Thanks, but I thought of that, and I can't log in to the CC with the e-mail address I used years ago for Cakewalk. I can only log in with a username, and I only have one of those associated with Cakewalk.

Just as well it didn't with z3ta+2.

I don't know if this will help anyone here, but I had purchased Z3TA+2 and Rapture Pro in the GOBBLE sale, and neither would come out of demo mode inside Cakewalk or in standalone, even though I had installed it using the Cakewalk Command Center.
 
I tried using the Command Center to uninstall Z3TA+2, delete files, and re-install, but it did not help.
 
Finally went and downloaded the command center fresh from my account area on the web at https://www.cakewalk.com/Command-Center and installed it over the old copy, and everything worked fine after that. I did not even need to re-install Rapture Pro. So, I was surprised the old one did not auto-update itself or tell me there was a new version, if that was the cause.
 
Then again, I did go backwards from a Windows 10 installation reverting to 8.1 recently, so I'm not sure if that timing fits or not. Still, it is worth a try if you are having issues getting those plugins to work.
