This could be a rock opera.

I honestly don't get the Bond thing, but it does have a 60s hip/mod, lava lamp in the background soundtrack feel to it. A fun tune. I like the bass and piano in particular, but on my speakers the snare come through with a kind of bright splashy sound....although that may be apt for this song. Good job. Mark

Sounds good Rick, I would have to A/B them to comment on the mix, but this sounds just fine.

Nice song. Great changes and melody. I would have like to heard the vocals up front more, I had trouble understanding them some. The guitar break was just a tad too far back I thought, although I think I understood that you wanted understated. Great vibe, and really nice melody. Daryl

Hi Gary, you're awesome to go around twice!!! Thank you!!! I do it with duck tape and red wine. Thank you for the eager ears! Scotty, You know, i did an operetta. 4 voices 20 minutes long. Took me nine months to compose. I loved the education it provided me. I'd love to write an opera....more along the lines of Puccini though. Thank you for the listen! Mark, The Bond thing is that i did this song for my kids video project as a soundtrack. it's a 007 spoof. i lowered some of the high end and hopefully the splashy drums will warm up. Thank you for coming by to listen! Hey JC!, I posted them JUST FOR YOU! Thank you for asking. Makes me feel the embers glow. Me scales are gettin' slower and slower.... Hi Robby, Thanks for poppin' back in . I just did a new remix (8:00pm) more verve and less high end. Thank you again! Daryl, Good idea! I brought the vocals forward a bit (thank you) and posted lyrics in case you still can't understand my chicago garble. thank you for listening!!!!

Sounding good Rick. There's something about the lead vocal frequency that's bothering me though. I'm thinkin that the highs of the piano are competing with that of the vocals and I think the vocals are just to airy. Maybe leave the "air" for the piano, cut it out of the voc (6-10k), find a frequency thaty cuts through a little better for the voc and raise it a smidge, and lower it on the piano so they don't compete. And BTW, I'm gonna be sorry I revisited this tune cause last time I couldn't get it out of my head. I guess that's a good thing for you:)

Very cool! Has that 60's vibe going on. Love the changes, and the production and mix are tops!

I'm not chucking any more comparison bands around Rick , I'll just say I really enjoyed this one, highly creative and individual. You really have carved out a niche for yourself with highly distinctive writing. Excellent.

Tim, I'm floored by your ears and how succinctly you spot the trouble. I put a dip from around 6-10k on the LVoc and it made a huge difference. I guess i should put a corresponding dip on the keys around 2-6k? Anyway...thank you for the help! ...and if you can't get a tune out of your head just pop in some Gregorian Chant...works for me all the time. Hello Rebel and welcome to The Land Where Cake Walks. Thank you for the listen. I'm very glad you liked it. where in the Berky's are you? I'm in Vermont. Hi James, Nice of you to say so. Just goes to show if you stick to your bad habits long enough it eventually appears to be a niche. :) You made my day, sir!
